A Fine & Rare Example of an Irish Architectural Style Chimneypiece in Honed Laois Limestone

Description

The traditional cornice shelf sits above a plain frieze, centered by an excellent example of Italian Carrara marble.

The bed mould comprises  a beautifully crafted, fluted detail, under the center tablet and end blocks, while the opening is framed by a classic bull nose moulding.

All on original block feet.
