About The Store Yard

Situated in the midlands of Ireland, the award-winning Store Yard is unique in the Irish antique and architectural salvage market. Laois is Ireland’s most inland county and wherever you are The Store Yard is easily accessible by road, with  visitors coming from every corner of the country.

With more than 30,000 square feet of the most interesting architectural salvage, period furniture, unusual and quirky decorative pieces, as we say ‘purveyors of the unusual’ .  The shop is styled in an original aesthetic often replicated in other interiors. We believe in maximalism, layering your interior.

The Store Yard is a go to place , whether you are an international interior designer or a young couple starting out in your first home, there is something for everyone.

Situated in a Portlaoise business park, the size and breadth of The Store Yard amazes visitors, who can discover just about anything from wonderful large-scale salvage pieces, 18^th century Irish chimneypieces,  to beautifully upholstered period furniture, lighting, along with rare taxidermy, decorative paintings and garden antiques.

A member of IADA (Irish Antique Dealers Association), the Store Yard's expert design team collaborate with architects and designers on residential and commercial projects.

The Store Yard is a key player in the supply of props, to film, tv, advertisement.

Within The Store Yard there is also an award-winning restaurant Get Stuffed, serving artisan home-made food.

We also have an a satellite shop located in the Medieval town of Youghal in East Cork.
